Languages for Children (3-9Y)

Students attend by themselves.   In Children's classes students magically absorb a new language in a happy immersion environment filled with exciting and age-appropriate action games, visual aids, original vocabulary-building songs, play, and laughs.  Because kids over the age of three are fully verbal, Children's classes are vocal and animated, and because age 3+ is are more aware of their peers, they enjoy interacting as a group.

Older groups focus on phrases and full sentences, as well as learning stories and dialogues. Because the students are constantly engaged in rapidly changing activities, classes are fast paced and fun.  Best of all because they are mature enough to benefit from stories, students not only get a new Songs & More Workbook/CD set every session but also a brand new LWFC Storybook.

Since 1973 The Language Workshop for Children’s approach remains the first and most respected method in children’s language educational play.  Part of The Thibaut Technique® magic is training teachers to blend laughs, emotional support, melodies, colorful props, and gentle personal interaction into every lesson.  A child’s attention and imagination is captured so they truly absorb the words and sentence basics they hear. Every class offers students a mix of familiar routines and new songs, words, and phrases as a means to build French, Spanish, Italian or Chinese fluency. 

Depending upon the location Children’s classes are grouped by ages 3-5Y and 4-9Y in French, Spanish, Italian, and Chinese.
