At the LWFC, we offer both online lessons and in-person lessons. If you opt for in-person lessons, one of our experienced teachers will travel to your home or a location of your choosing (limited to New York City and Northern NJ) to give your child a personalized one-on-one lesson. Like our online lessons, these one-on-one sessions are catered to each child’s unique strengths and interests, giving them guided, customized support in any areas with room for improvement.

Due to the time, expense, and effort of travel, we do require a minimum one-hour time commitment for our in-person lessons. This lesson length may not be suitable for younger children or children who struggle with attention over longer spans of time. Current scholarship as well as our own educational experience suggests that many children (especially younger children) are better suited to shorter lesson lengths. If that’s the case for your child, we suggest giving our online lessons a try.
